The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

In you role, you will:

Reporting directly to the Head of A220 Incremental Product Development, the jobholder will be responsible to define and execute the STEPs (Synchronized Target Embodiment Point, an initiative aiming at synchronizing product modifications in order to answer one or several Program Objectives) of the A220 Program.

Description of the job:

  • Be accountable for STEP4 Program definition, management and execution, end to end from Requirements and Objectives up to the Final Customer acceptance of the Program.
  • be accountable for the A220 STEP management governance execution: planning, costs, technical content, risks and opportunities management, escalation and coordination of Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) in charge of developing and delivering the solutions with our global supply chain
  • be accountable to secure STEP OP (Operational Plan) and Resources Plan (skills and competences)
  • Be accountable to engage Suppliers in the STEP Program and secure their commitment.
  • Be accountable to prepare and pass Maturity Gates (MG) as per the PDS Process, seeking guidance, support and alignment of chairman and panels, from all Airbus organizations (peers)
  • be responsible to translate stakeholder expectations into clear operational inputs for the MFTs to allow them to work on the best Solutions for the Program Objectives and Operationally lead and engage this multifunctional team across all functions and organizations
  • Integrate in the Program's Airbus Europe functions and ways of working and constantly propose adaptations to Airbus Canada.
  • Coordinating and integrating all contributing parties (i.e.: Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Customer Support, Program...) in an IPT (Integrated Product Team) and/or MFT approach.

As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a bachelor degree or diploma in Management/Engineering, an MBA is an asset
  • You show strong leadership skills in line with the Airbus leadership model
  • PMP is an asset
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Program, Industrial or Project management
  • You have strong analytical skills, planning, problem solving, and good interpersonal skills
  • You show an open mind and a great ability to work as a team player
  • In addition, you must have a sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomy
  • You are fully bilingual (spoken and written) in French and English
  • You are patient, positive and have perseverance along with good organization skills
