Airbus' ties to Canada were deepened in October 2017 when Airbus sought to acquire a majority stake in the C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (renamed Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in June 2019), the entity that manufactures and sells Bombardier's single-aisle C Series jets- rebranded the A220 Family, with its two versions designated the A220-100 and A220-300. The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

In your role, you will report to the Project Management Section Chief, Cabin Engineering and your primary responsibilities related to the development of the cabin for several customers will be to:

  • Lead integrated team weekly meetings and governance for your respective customers and suppliers;
  • Develop, harmonize, maintain and update schedules for each phase of the Program;
  • Manage the integration of the cabin schedule and ensure that it is harmonized with the overall program schedule for each customer and across other work packages;
  • Identify and report Issues and Risks with mitigation plans;
  • Ensure effective delivery, review and approval of all deliverables in each program phases;
  • Ensure compliance to all governing documents and processes;
  • Participate in the problem solving and recovery plans when required to maintain key deliverables' timeline
  • Lead change-management activities, from initiation to engineering implementation completion, for a given portfolio of changes;
    • Ensure timely presentation of the changes for conclusive disposition at various stages of the process;
  • Prepare information summarizing costs of each change;
  • Actively monitor and report the progress at all stages of a change's life-cycle.

Your daily tasks will include proactive leadership in problem resolution, tracking of product development tasks, actions and deliverables, coordinating and communicating tasks between the work packages, the Suppliers and other functions within A220. You will have daily interaction with the Cabin Specialists, Integrators and Suppliers.


As our ideal candidate,

  • You have an Engineering Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • You have five (3) to eight (6) years of relevant experience in project management or equivalent.
  • You ideally have experience in aerospace.
  • You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You have superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You are a team player with strong communication skills who interfaces well with the many business partners involved.
