The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

In your role, you will:

  • Produce concepts, support external collaborating companies, and approve detail parts and structure and system installations
  • Produce impact statements for changes relative your function
  • Communicate and arbitrate between various function such as Stress, Systems, Manufacturing, Structural Suppliers, Program Office, Logistics and Quality to develop new designs and resolve issues
  • Manage your priorities, ensure adherence to change management plans and implement recovery plans to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work towards reducing non-quality and improving efficiency within your sector and across the company

As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or a College Technical degree in Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent, plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in aerospace or related industry, design (metallic and ideally composites) and manufacturing
  • You show leadership skills, judgment, flexibility, initiative, and can work with minimum supervision
  • You are an energetic person with excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • You have strong knowledge of aircraft structures, systems installation, doors and mechanical systems, configuration management principles, design for manufacturing, detail design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, composite and component assembly), weight control, drafting procedures and standards, costs and schedule
  • You have a high sense of commitment, able to meet tight deadlines and comfortable to work under pressure, and you have a sense of urgency
  • You are fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
