Airbus' ties to Canada were deepened in October 2017 when Airbus sought to acquire a majority stake in the C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (renamed Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in June 2019), the entity that manufactures and sells Bombardier's single-aisle C Series jets- rebranded the A220 Family, with its two versions designated the A220-100 and A220-300. The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

The Customer Acceptance & delivery manager will be responsible to oversee the delivery of aircraft to customers and support related delivery activities.

In your role, you will:

  • Support aircraft deliveries with the A220 Delivery Center processes, including the implementation of activities necessary for the adherence to and improvement of specific aircraft delivery schedules
  • Lead the relationship with on-site Customer Representatives as the main point of contact for Airbus Canada and with various executive levels of Airbus Canada and Customer team organizations.
  • Coordinate with various internal functions to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables related to the aircraft deliveries, such as master schedules, configuration issues, technical publications, etc.
  • Prepare and manage delivery notices, delivery schedules and Customers delivery surveys and associated key performance indicators.
  • Support the negotiation and follow-through of delivery agreements or delivery deficiencies directly with customers and internal functions.
  • Generally, seek opportunities and drive to continuous improvement in providing an amazing customer experience before, during and after each aircraft deliveries

As our ideal candidate,

  • You have a Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience or a college degree in aircraft maintenance or associated field. MBA or Engineering degree would be an asset
  • You have at least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Aerospace, Operations or Technical related field.
  • You have excellent command of English language (oral and written), with knowledge of French language as a definite asset.
  • You have a strong business acumen and excel with delivering outstanding customer service.
  • You have excellent people and leadership skills, combined with an ability to influence positively others.
  • You are willing and able to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and week-ends as required from time to time to support aircraft readiness for delivery.
