Airbus' ties to Canada were deepened in October 2017 when Airbus sought to acquire a majority stake in the C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (renamed Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in June 2019), the entity that manufactures and sells Bombardier's single-aisle C Series jets- rebranded the A220 Family, with its two versions designated the A220-100 and A220-300. The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

Reporting directly to the Head of A220 Incremental Product Development, the jobholder will be responsible to define and lead development of MaMos in the A220 Programme.

In you role, you will:

  • be accountable for the definition and program management and delivery of a MaMo in line with program objectives on time, cost (NRC & RC), Quality, performance and maturity targets
  • be accountable in more detail for the MaMo development management related governance, planning, risks and opportunities management, escalation and coordination of Multi Functional Teams in charge of developing and delivering the solutions with a global supply chain
  • be accountable to manage MaMo related OP (Operational Plan) and Resources Plan (skills and competences)
  • be responsible to translate stakeholder expectations into clear operational inputs for the multi-functional teams to allow them to work on the best solutions for the customer (internal or external) and the programme objectives
  • leading a team of PCR (product change requests) leaders (project managers) who are responsible to manage PCR projects, through all their phases; i.e. detail design, development, parts manufacturing, suppliers involvement, industrial set up and rate readiness.
  • coordinating and integrating all contributing parties (i.e.: Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Customer Support, ...) in an IPT (Integrated Product Team) and/or MFT (Multi Functional Teams) approach.

As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a bachelor degree or diploma in Management/Engineering, an MBA is an asset
  • You show strong leadership skills in line with the Airbus leadership model
  • PMP is an asset
  • You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Programme, Industrial or Project management
  • You have strong analytical skills, planning, problem solving, and good interpersonal skills
  • You show an open mind and a great ability to work as a team player
  • In addition, you must have a sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomy
  • You are fully bilingual (spoken and written) in French and English
  • You are patient, positive and have perseverance along with good organization skills
