Airbus' ties to Canada were deepened in October 2017 when Airbus sought to acquire a majority stake in the C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (renamed Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in June 2019), the entity that manufactures and sells Bombardier's single-aisle C Series jets- rebranded the A220 Family, with its two versions designated the A220-100 and A220-300. The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

Reporting to the A220 Quality Assurance organization as a Supplier Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be a member of a multifunctional team to perform approvals for manufacturing processes and quality management system as part of a major Transfer of Work (ToW) initiative for the A220 program.

In your role, you will:

  • Manage Supplier quality management assessments to comply with A220 program and regulatory quality requirements using interviews and documentation reviews.
  • Manage suppliers controlled process evaluation requests to ensure compliance with A220 program specifications
  • Perform remote audit of supplier's facilities and controlled processes (due to Covid19 pandemic business limitation of travel)
  • Ensure supply chain compliance according to current processes, identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement

As our ideal candidate,

  • You have experience in the aerospace industry, Quality Management Systems
  • You have relevant experience in supplier auditing for aeronautic manufacturing processes (Controlled Processes) especially small assembly, detailed work, sealant, bushing/bearing installation, heat treat
  • You demonstrate leadership, flexibility, integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and ethic.
  • You demonstrate knowledge of Nadcap, AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
  • You have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in quality, or engineering in a field related to the manufacturing industry (aeronautics, mechanics, engineering, project management, etc.)
  • You have experience in project management (principles and tools) would be an asset
  • You are a member of a recognized Audit professional association would be an asset.
  • Bilingualism essential both spoken and written
  • You have a good working knowledge of the Google and Microsoft Office suite
