Description of the job

You will be part of A220 Procurement for Equipment and Systems team and will report to the Head of A220 Equipment and Systems Procurement (ABPE) based in Mirabel. The job is located in Airbus Canada at Mirabel (Canada).

You will be in charge to manage A220 retrofit procurement activities for Equipment and Systems work packages, and to support the buyers to negotiate commercial conditions in line with retrofit requirements and policy.

In your role:

You will be responsible for the implementation of Airbus Canada Procurement actions linked to retrofit activities defined by Program and In-Service team and to ensure compliance with Airbus Procurement Procedures.

The job holder contributes to find an optimized retrofit solution for our customers and for Airbus for commercial aspect, by supporting and challenging In-service team during retrofit policy definition per change (PCR)

The job holder will be also in closed connection with Procurement for Customer Services (PES) to share and to capture some experience feedback form other Airbus Commercial program.

For Equipment and Systems Procurement, you will be directly in charge of

  • Ensuring retrofit requirements and policy are well defined per Change to support buyers in commercial negotiation with suppliers.
  • Participating to In-Service boards defining the retrofit policy per change.
  • Improving the process for retrofit procurement activities
  • Coordinating within Equipment and Systems Procurement the activities linked to specific retrofit affecting multi work packages / suppliers.
  • Ensuring delivery on time, on quality, and on cost Retrofit negotiation and RLA (Retrofit Letter Agreement) in line with A220 Program decisions.
  • Consolidating the suppliers' cost exposure of retrofit activities for Equipment and Systems work packages to support financial forecast and AOP.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • You have at least 2 years of Procurement experience or Business experience with knowledge of the Procurement process
  • Experience in working in a multi-functional environment.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and influencing internal customers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial / Contract knowledge is desirable.
  • Negotiation level in English, other languages would be an asset.
