Description of the job 

Directly reporting to the A220 FAL Controller you will have a key role in the FAL unit cost build-up and analysis.  You also play a very important role as a business partner supporting the operation and bringing your expertise and recommendation on the business assumptions. You manage the A220 FAL unit cost for two different sites Mirabel (Canada) and Mobile (Alabama).  You will also be responsible to manage the Capital Assets requirement to support the program ramp-up. Finally, you will support ad-hoc projects arising from time to time.  

 

In your role, you will: 

Supervise a finance team dedicated to the support of the Mirabel Assembly Line

Coordinate FAL unit cost activities with Mobile local finance team

Partner with the operations teams to set the annual budget and 5 year targets

Partner with the operations teams to drive operational improvements and comparisons with forecast and budget

Provide with the pertinent unit cost analysis; actuals, forecast and budget.

Implement required internal controls around the unit cost.

Review and approve all Capital Asset Acquisitions

Provide accurate governance on capital assets. 

 

As our ideal candidate, 

You hold a Bachelor degree in accounting of finance or the equivalent

You are a professional accounting certification (CPA)

You have seven to ten years of experience

You have experience in a large manufacturing environment

You demonstrate leadership, teamwork and excellent customer relationship

You have ability to clearly convey information and ideas

You are fluently bilingual French and English

You have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite

You have SAP knowledge as an asset
