Description of the job, as A220 Procurement Operations Performance Manager

 

Procurement Operations (PO) is a recent organization within Airbus Canada. Our mission is to drive towards Airbus Excellence Standards our Supply Chain & Quality activities. A220 Program is facing and anticipating a strong production ramp-up with the objective to go from 4+ aircraft/month today to 12 in 2022. Therefore, the Supply Chain maturity and capability are crucial to accompany this challenge.

 

 

In this context, your main responsibilities will be to:

 

  • Lead the A220 Procurement Operations Performance Management

 

  • Drive A220 Procurement Operations Ready for Tomorrow Roadmap especially with regards to
    • Integration to Airbus & Airbus Canada IT tools
    • Risk Management of A220 Transfers of Work
    • PO Projects Roadmap Management

 

  • Foster End to End Supply Change Management and Communication

 

 

This position is dedicated to A220 and is located in Mirabel, Canada.

This role might require some travelling. So, you should be able to travel consequentially.

To perform your mission, you will get the support of a PMO

 

Your main activities will be:

 

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:

  • Drive A220 Performance Management activities with associated reporting
  • Define standard performance targets and KPIs - shared internally and systematically followed with the supplier's scorecards, focusing on root causes.
  • Integrate to Airbus PO Cockpit and on-board the SPEED project for A220
  • Participate to Program Adherence Reviews and deputize the Ho A220 PO
  • Ensure Adherence to Quality Escape Eradication plan
  • Lead Risks & Opportunities management methodology and overview and follow-up for A220 PO
  • Support Budget and AOP processes for A220 scope transnationally
  • Contribute to Operational Targets challenging process

 

 

READY FOR TOMORROW:

  • Drumbeat the deployment of the Airbus and Airbus IT tools roadmap in coordination with POY and PYD teams
  • Enable A220 SCQM population for tools access
  • Manage the PO projects roadmap with reporting and project milestones adherence
  • Interface with A220 Program on Transfer of Works roadmap
  • Participate to the Unique Supplier Matrix project

 

CHANGE MANAGEMENT & COMUNNICATION

  • Lead and deliver the A220 PO communication roadmap
  • Prepare the 1st A220 E2E Supply Roadshow
  • Deploy A220 learning path and model based on SkillsFirst and ensure integration of newcomers
  • Support E2E Supply governance improvements

As our ideal candidate, you have

  • A recognized experience in Supply Chain & Quality, Industrial, Quality or Customer Support.
  • Some Supply Chain basic principles
  • Good knowledge in project management including Risks & Opps
  • Experience in transversal positions
  • Knowledge on Problem solving methods, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA),...)
  • Change management skills
  • Experience in IT/Process mapping is an asset

 

In addition,

  • You are a team worker and strive for collaboration
  • You have the ability to listen and actively manage stakeholders with an empathic and supportive mindset
  • You can structure a concrete action plan even with a complex environment and various expectations
  • You are autonomous and able to adapt to the environment
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills
  • You have Advanced level in English and French
