Airbus' ties to Canada were deepened in October 2017 when Airbus sought to acquire a majority stake in the C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (renamed Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in June 2019), the entity that manufactures and sells Bombardier's single-aisle C Series jets- rebranded the A220 Family, with its two versions designated the A220-100 and A220-300.  The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

In your role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain new publications/documents offered as part of the Maintenance Engineering services portfolio (including ACJ TwoTwenty documentation).
  • Support team members to maintain existing maintenance program publications. These include:
  • Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR) and Airworthiness Limitations (AWL) Provides the approved schedule maintenance requirements for the A220.
  • Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) Provides planning data to help an operator get their scheduled maintenance program approved.
  • Analyze engineering source documents to establish impact on applicable publications and take measure to revise as required.
  • Coordinate changes to maintenance program publications with Technical Publications based on related Job Cards and maintenance publications.
  • Support updates to approval processes with all major stakeholders (Maintenance Engineering, Technical Publications, Engineering, Airworthiness, Authorities, Customers)
  • Prepare technical reports/presentations to support internal meetings and customer/regulatory meetings.
  • Respond to queries from customers regarding the A220 maintenance program publications.
  • Raise requirements/issues to the Publication Services team (user roadblocks and requirements) as it pertains to the authoring tools and publications standards.


As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a college diploma (DEC) in aerospace or equivalent field or a minimum of five (3) years relevant work experience;
  • You have strong communication skills (written and spoken);
  • You are proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP (an asset);
  • You have a detailed understanding of Technical Publications processes and technologies (an asset);
  • You have a good understanding of S1000D and ATA specifications (an asset);
  • You have good knowledge of HTML, SGML and XML authoring languages (an asset);
  • You have knowledge of MSG-3 or experience in development of maintenance programs and planning (an asset).
