Airbus' ties to Canada were deepened in October 2017 when Airbus sought to acquire a majority stake in the C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (renamed Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in June 2019), the entity that manufactures and sells Bombardier's single-aisle C Series jets- rebranded the A220 Family, with its two versions designated the A220-100 and A220-300. The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

As a Project Manager in Manufacturing Technological Development, you will be ask to:

  • Evaluate and propose advance technological acquisitions opportunities for machining, sheet metal, composite domains, as well as assembly processes which will permit our organization to reach technological excellence;
  • Define strategy for Projects achievement: Project content, scope, resources, delays, cost, risk, quality management, communication and training;
  • Coordinate all technological activities during projects development phases;
  • Align implicated resources and be the interfacing focal with different stakeholders;
  • Manage customer expectations and change requests inside projects;
  • Prepare and present progress status to management committee;
  • Ensure that post-implementation results are meeting customer expectations;
  • Evaluate, participate, support initiatives linked to continuous improvement in manufacturing and assembly process domains

Ideal candidate shall meet the following requirements:

  • Mechanical, Aeronautic or Industrial Engineering baccalaureate or any other relevant experience
  • Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in project management
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes in aerospace industry (Asset)
  • Many years of experience in human resources management in the context of matrix project management
  • Good capacity in planning and communication
  • Passionate in reaching technological excellence
  • Good knowledge of English and French in writings and speaking
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite such as Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Basic Knowledge of AutoCad software (Asset)
  • PMI Certification (Asset)
